KSSTUDIOS is a luxury handcrafted leather goods label, by designer and maker Kathryn Senior.
The label specialises in an artisan approach using traditional leather working techniques and fine craftmanship, stitched entirely by hand.
Each limited-edition collection is Made To Order, reflecting both artistry and functionality. Influences behind the collections blend organic forms
with sculptural and architectural design. A design aesthetic that harmonises character through textural and industrial detail,
culminating in contemporary, unique leather goods.

The label is committed to sustainable practices, with strong values on zero-waste and the use of high quality materials. Each piece is bespoke,
created only for its owner upon purchase, not overproduced. Careful pattern cutting minimises waste, and any offcuts are repurposed
for smaller projects. Continually exploring new sustainable methods.

Designer and Maker​

A long time in the making...
Having always been fascinated by traditional craftsmanship and handcrafted approach to design. I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by creativity.
From an early age, living with my Grandma who has been a seamstress all her life, teaching me her knowledge and sewing tricks from her little sewing room in the basement of our family home. She's now 87, and still sewing. Also fortunate to have watched my Dad over the years repair by hand canvas sails for tall ships he sailed on.
Teaching me his stitching techniques and repair skills, passing down some of the tools his Grandad gave him, a few I work with today, which feels extra special.
All of which would later inspire and develop into a passion for design and construction of leather goods, leading onto gain a Bachelors degree in
Textile and Accessories design.

A lot of love, work and dedication to the craft goes into every piece produced. Exclusively hand stitched; over 30 hours work
goes into making many of the leather goods. Handmade production process exposes each designs personal characteristics, charm and
reveal a construction story, details that reflect the labels identity.

There is only me behind the label... balancing alongside my role as in-house mender for an outdoor clothing company.
Sometimes there may be times things may take a little longer than expected to produce.
